About the Position: The Sr Node Backend Dev plays a crucial role in the development team, combining technical expertise with a collaborative and adaptable mindset. This position involves actively contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications while ensuring quality and efficiency.

The developer will be a key team player, capable of solving moderately complex technical challenges independently and supporting junior developers when necessary. They will also collaborate closely with senior engineers and project leads to align technical implementations with project objectives.
They are expected to balance technical contributions with strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills, fostering a productive and innovative environment.This role is ideal for professionals who are eager to grow, adapt to new challenges, and contribute both technically and creatively to the success of the team.

Context: We are building a new team for a client, so there would be plenty of growth opportunities.

Work modality: Hybrid Uruguay - Argentina. Offices located in Carrasco (Montevideo), La Plata and Palermo (Buenos Aires).

Onboarding: Full-time position based in Montevideo.

Tech Skills:

Requirements:

• Backend: NestJS and/or Node JS

Nice to Have:

• Typescript

• Fastify

• NextJS and/or React

• Experience working with performance optimization techniques for front-end and back-end applications.

• Familiarity with advanced testing strategies, such as integration or end-to-end testing.

• Exposure to scalable deployment practices, including basic container orchestration tools.

• Understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them to user interfaces.

• Experience mentoring junior developers or collaborating on team-wide best practices.
